La Paz
During the whole trip, one of Racecardriver's favorite place to play was behind Starship's wheel. I guess he takes after Boppa!
After two glorious beach-dwelling sunshine laden days, we made our way back to La Paz. There, we ate tasty fish tacos, vaguely considered getting some Lucha Libre under our belts, and walked along the malecon. All in all, La Paz is a nice town. The statues sure are buxom. (You want me to believe that mermaid's got naturals?) And the Oasis hotel was a nice step up from our previous nights of leaky therma-rest camping. The Oasis had pet peacocks! Too bad they were too fast to get a picture of.
And then, we were off, back to Alaska. Thanks Greg and Sonja and Liza-Loo and Ivan for sharing your Baja camping adventure with us!
In Anchorage we visited Team Wilyo once again, which was a treat as always. Thanks for the excellent hospitality and tasty grits! You're never too young (or old) to rock. Or rock a little harder! Austin Musashi demonstrates:
And tomorrow we're on the road again, to hang out with Team Wilyo and Mr. Jamgochian and his HNH lover. Sunny beach to frozen interior Alaska, one extreme to the other. Ice carving contests, northern lights, hot springs, and bowling await us in the big city. That, and a couple more ass-numbing plane rides each way.
