I doubt that there could be finer publicity for Alaska's wild berries than Senor! So cute. I think our berry season officially ended last weekend. Everything started freezing, and then on Saturday it snowed for the entire day. Things are all white and slick, and it is confirmed: I love winter the most! We were lucky and got our snowmachines up at the very last minute. And I managed to find for sale a 5 gallon bucket of lowbush cranberries. I know. Not the same as actually hand-picked. But you know how slow I am! It would have taken me 5 months to accumulate such bounty! Wish you were here to find creative ways to put them all to use!
