Real Sunshine!!

A beautiful day inspired us to check out the small boat harbor. It was truly pleasant...warm sunshine, light breeze (very very light by our standards), temperature above 50 degrees, pure blue sky. Whoa. Are we in Hawaii? Aaahhh, maybe I should be a boat wife???

Tot Time

Boo and his girlfriends enjoy the daily Tot Time at the gymnasium (the little girl next to him in the photos is 3 days older than him and the other girl is about a month or two older....yes, he likes the older ladies). His latest trick is crawling through this tunnel (still commando-style).

You know you're in the Aleutians When....

You are giddy with excitement that it's finally a nice day!

With SUNSHINE!

And BLUE SKY!

Trip to America

We're back in the DH after a fun trip down south. PBR and I went to northern Cali for an impromptu mini-family reunion with only Uncle Nate and Aunt Nicole missing :(. Luckily we'll see them in Montana this summer. We enjoyed 3 days at Half Moon Bay while Uncle Matty did some serious yoga and then spent a few days in the LG.

Here's Matty attempting to win points for the Uncle of the Year award. It's his own self-designated contest, but he doesn't realize the stiff competition out there...

Senor got his first Cook family music lessons...

Then we flew to Portland and met up with Dawson for our friends Jake and Megan's wedding. The highlights were warm sunny days (yes, sun!), hanging out in cool bookstores, eating tasty food, hanging out with Dawson's college (and law) buddies and playing lots of Kubb. PBR made it through the nuptials in the Catholic church with just one peep (and 1/2 a tupperware container of stars). Whew.

The true highlight was watching Pirates of the Caribean 3 and discussing it afterwards with Justin and Lori, but not Elle, who elected to see Waitress solo rather than J Hill's preferred POTC3. Her loss.* We can honestly say, it is the best movie Paxson Revel has ever seen in the theater in his entire life (not counting the Banff International Film Festival). And it's the best movie we've ever seen with PR at a theater. It's an awesome movie. One of the best we've ever seen. You should see it. Lori's friend's friend gets shot in the head about 12 minutes into the movie. And not only that. It's really really long, so you feel like you get every dollar's worth of the price of admission. The movie unseated Gone Fishin' in Dawson's list. POTC3 is #1!

Alas, we didn't take even one picture of the Oregon adventure....

But for comic relief, here's some shots from the diaper changer in the Seattle airport. Who would think to install a baby changer right next to an automatic motion sensor paper towel dispenser??? Senor loved it!

*In case you didn't notice the sarcasm, this is not actually true. Elle was the smart one. The thing we've found most amazing about POTC3 is that so many people really did love it. We didn't actually love it.
