Crab Fest Part Dos

The survival suit races. (If ships sunk when the weather was this nice, I doubt there'd ever be a fatality.)

It looks pretty fun.

Mardis gras? Just training.

Six bucks well spent.

Here's what an actual rescue looks like:

Help is on its way!

(Rescue swimmer ready to drop)

(Rescue swimmer dropping)

(Rescue swimmer)

(Thankful sunken sailors)

(Rescue basket being hoisted)

The Crab Fest Parade:

(Shrimp Fest)

No parade is complete without patriotic motorcycles!

That's the spirit!

Paxson's first team event!

Ready to Rock!

Oh yeah, we got a new fridge.

Sad news, we lost our happy cow. Freezer malfunction.

$1,000 of range fed goodness down the drain!

Crab Fest 2011

Crabfest is traditionally synonymous with total crap weather. 2011 was an exception, and Nana was on hand to help us celebrate. Rides, Coast Guard demonstrations, and free money are amongst the highlights. And of course, fair food.

Nana shares an exquisite freshly dipped chocolate nut ice cream bar with Stoko Loco.

Doing our best to get our kids to vomit on the "Spin The Apple" ride. No dice.

Free money in the sawdust.

The Lions club, trying hard to explain the importance of free money to two and three year olds.

I GOTTA HAVE MORE COWBELL! (By the way, so lame of you, NBC, to remove the original from youtube.) Nice work Dover! You are a natural with the Kodiak Island Drummers.
